LOST PROPERTY RETURN


Thanks to the vigilance of our airport, airline and rail clients, and the sophistication of our state-of-the-art systems, the odds of finding lost property have never been better.


Our aim is to return lost property to its rightful owner as quickly as possible and with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience. With this in mind, we have three simple systems in place to return lost property securely and safely:


  1. Collection by claimant:
    We are able to return lost property to you from the Lost & Found Office that is closest to where your belongings were found. To ensure that we always return lost property to its rightful owners we require a claimant to bring proof of identity in the form of photographic ID (a passport, driving licence or official company ID will do). Proof of ownership may be required, especially for high-value items, therefore we may ask some additional questions and if you have any receipts or photographs that will help us to identify you as the owner please do bring them along with you. A fee will be payable for the return of lost property, based on the size and weight of the item(s) that we have been storing for you.

  2. Collection by someone else:
    You can arrange for someone else to pick up your lost property for you, but they will need to bring proof of identity for both themselves and the claimant, and have a letter authorising the collection, signed by the claimant. They will also need to pay the fee that is payable for all lost property returns.

  3. Courier
  4. Delivery by courier:
    If you are unable or unwilling to travel to collect your lost property we would be more than happy to return lost property to you by courier. Whether you are just down the road or have travelled overseas, we are able to forward lost property directly to your door. Choose from standard or next-business-day delivery and this, along with the weight of the items we’re sending to you and the destination, will determine the overall cost of this option. This can all be arranged and paid for safely and securely online. We will of course also require you to provide us with the same forms of ID that you would if you were collecting your belongings in person. This can be done by sending scanned copies by email and, only once we are satisfied that that you are who you say you are and that the items are in fact yours, will we release the lost property via courier.
